As a looming superstar in Ottumwa's highly-competitive gaming realm, Caleb Burtlow has been selected to be one of the featured Future Superstars in the Walter Day Collection of Video Game & Pinball Trading Cards. During the recent Ottumwa Trading Card Ceremonies, Caleb was among an elite group of video game champions who were honored on trading cards for their important contributions to the global gaming culture. Presented by Billy MItchell and Walter Day, the trading card was unveiled -- along with an AWARD CERTIFICATE shown herein -- on Saturday, November 11, 2017, during the Ottumwa Old School Arcade Galaxies of Gaming Festival, at the Quincy Place Mall, in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Caleb Scott Burtlow, age 9, is an emerging star in the Ottumwa gaming scene and is the oldest son of Terry and Ginny Burtlow. This last year Caleb has been involved with Ottumwa’s Gamer-of-the-Year “kids league” and has won many first-place victories as well as notching second and third-place victories. He is in the top three for the final round of the competition during the Galaxies of Gaming event, November 9th through 12th in Ottumwa Iowa. Some of Caleb’s favorite games are Carnevil, America's Most Haunted, anything Mario, Sonic and many others. Caleb also enjoys reading books, drawing, and playing outside. Caleb is involved with awana's, Good News Club, technology club, and Young Writers association. Caleb always does his best in everything he does. He is a smart fun-loving kid who looks forward to helping Ottumwa regain its rightful status as “The Video Game Capital of the World.”
