Do you believe some Video Games are too violent and lead to violence in America today?

Some are; but that is what rating systems are for. (Just like films) With graphics so realistic these days, being a responsible gamer is more important than ever. Parents need to monitor their children and teach them this while they are young.

Have you ever received any media coverage for your appearance on the Trading Card?  If so, where?

Walter Day honored my card with a poster at the Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas back in 2012. Also, he honored by card with a poster at the first ICON art gallery event, back in 2013.

When did you first meet Walter day and where was it at?

At the Funspot X tournament back in 2008. This was where he first mentioned me on one of his posters.

If you could describe Walter Day in one word, what would that word be and why?

Generous.

Do you remember your first video game / arcade you played and what do you remember about it?

Space Invaders back in summer camp, 1978. Before that, pinball and shooting gallery novelties.

What are your opinions about today’s generation of video games?  How do you compare them to older, classic games?

I own a PlayStation 4, and lately, log in more gaming time, than I do with Atari 2600 and Sega Genesis. Some of my favorites are Pinball Arcade, Madden, and the Call of Duty series.

What is your favorite portable gaming device and why?

My droid smartphone, in which I play Angry Birds at my leisure or whenever traveling.

Do you prefer PC or Console gaming and why?

Only console. No interest in PC gaming at this time.

What games today do you play and what are your favorite genres of games?

My favorite genres are video pinball, racing games, music games, first person shooters, and puzzle solving games.  Grand Theft Auto V for the PS4 is my favorite game, I currently play Pinball Arcade, Zen Pinball, Pac-Man championship editions, Madden, Call of Duty, Rock Band, and the Gran Turismo franchises.

If you could own one arcade game or pinball game, what would it be and why?

A Virtual Pinball machine has been an interest to me as of late.

Growing up were you team Sega or Nintendo and why?

I played both equally back in the day, in high school at the time, but much more Sega Genesis today. Otherwise, Atari 2600 was my true love growing up as a child.

What does it take to be a Video Game Journalist?

How does video game music influence games past and present?

Are video games aimed mainly at children, adolescents or adults?

Depends on the game. There is always something for anyone to play!

Do you prefer playing video games alone, against friends or online against the world and why?

Mostly play alone or compete against others at Twin Galaxies or vs. online, such as Madden.

Do you learn anything from playing video games?

Not really, sometimes I learn strategies, patterns and techniques from others, as hopefully they can learn from me in a full transparency environment, such as YouTube.

Are video games good for relieving stress?

They can be, unless playing in a competitive environment. It can be stressful at times.

Are you still involved with gaming today, and what role do you play?

I have been contributing my scores to Twin Galaxies for about 10 years now, and am currently active on adjudicating, as well as on the forums.

Where do you see Video gaming in the next 20 years?

Getting bigger and bigger. More eSports involvement and possibly the Olympics. (I will be way past my prime then)
